The
last game day in the Baden Württemberg League did not produce any more
surprises, since ranking leader Freiburg-Kaiserstuhl won their match
against the already relegated team from Herbolzheim and so won this
season’s title. Even if the second team in ranking from Sindelfingen (R.
Heber, Ö. Bulunmaz, W. Ludwig, R. Souquet) could win their away match at
the PBC Karlsruhe (D. Bastin, U. Bastin, C. Götemann, W. Veith) 5-3, but
due to the worse game point average, the team could not qualify for the
upcoming ascension games for the 2nd national division.
By this way, the BC Sindelfingen wishes the team from Freiburg good luck
in Chemnitz. However, rumours said that the champion team from Freiburg
will split up after this season and this makes the question of
participating at the ascension games difficult to understand.
